City of Kielce has a newly built skate park so the official opening at the end of April came just in time for the Polish National BMX Freestyle Championship to take place there. The contest was held on May 21st 2022, it was organized by Domin Team Sport in cooperation with our partner Regional Volunteer Centre Kielce.
Dozen riders gathered at the skate park and our volunteers got to help with event preparations as well as during the contest. Their duties were to help with event set up and administrative work such as athlete registrations. They were also in charge of athlete hospitality during the contest making sure riders aren't missing anything.
While for athletes this was the event that would enable some to participate at European Championships in Munich later this year, for volunteers it was a valuable experience to implement what they have learned at the NFE training in the previous month.
