5th Transnational Project Meeting was held in Kielce, Poland from December 5th to 7th 2021. Meeting was held both on site and online since the situation with Covid restrictions was once again changing daily.
Our host, Regional Volunteer Centre from Kielce organised a Volunteer Gala to celebrate the International Volunteer Day and our project consortium was welcomed in front of the full auditorium.
Meeting covered topics on completed activities of all project partners and it is visible that this year was much better in regards to completed NFE trainings with volunteers and organised sport events in general. Most of the partners had to adjust to restrictions in each country and organise their events in backup dates, mostly all of them being held from July to September. We went through presentation containing photo documentation and project coordinator pointed out on what to focus in future.
Within the Steering committee work meeting project lead presented the monitoring report encouraging partners to deliver the missing documentation.
A lot of time during the meeting was dedicated to defining deadlines for the Volunteering handbook and discussion on Multiplier Sport Event. Our partners from Poland are leading the creation of the Handbook and will gather information from each partner in separate forms containing all necessary info on legislation as well as best practice examples.
A couple of municipality members from Kielce joined our meeting as well so we used this occasion to present how urban sport events can contribute to local community especially in the regards of betterment of opportunities for youth. Hopefully we have inspired them to increase funding for urban sport event projects that contribute to further improve various youth programs.
